About me

Hi, I’m Katie, the founder of Girls in Real Life workshop. As a women's health nurse and a mother to both a son and a daughter, I know how important it is to have honest, open discussions about bodies, especially during the pivotal years of change. I am passionate about providing evidence-based, age-appropriate education that empowers young girls to understand and embrace their bodies. I believe that every girl deserves a safe space to ask questions, gain confidence, and navigate puberty with knowledge and support. Based in South Boston, I’m committed to making these essential conversations accessible and meaningful for families in our community and beyond.
